The Mogbo Family at Sunrise
To say I loved photographing this gorgeous family is an understatement. Originally from Nigeria, now living in Texas, this beautiful family came to visit the Riviera Maya and wanted to capture their family in a natural and organic way and when they said they loved warm backlit shots over the ocean, we planned an early morning sunrise shoot at a beautiful public beach in Cancun called Playa Delfinis. Normally a very busy beach but the advantage to early mornings is minimal people, and the bonus of gorgeous artwork in the sky over the ocean and beautiful light – so worth the early start!

Have you thought about having a Sunrise Session?
** For any morning people out there wanting a session at a public beach, I wholeheartedly recommend a sunrise session – it’s a lot cooler, we virtually have the beach to ourselves, the sun rises over the ocean, which often means gorgeous light + you’ll be finished your shoot by about 7 or 8am depending on the sunrise time/time of year, which means you get the rest of the day to relax and enjoy your vacation = win win!
