Hi, I’m Amanda, a Professional Wedding + Portrait Photographer + Aussie based in Playa del Carmen, Mexico with the love-of-my-life-best-friend + Canadian hubby, Michael (aka Miguel) (who has a secret obsession with all things Spiderman shhhh!) + also happens to be my 2nd Photographer + sleep walking buddy (yes we both sleepwalk!) We share a love for all different cultures, all different foods, travelling all over the world, meeting new friends, keeping fit, all things beachy, our Creator + of course photography! A current pic of us here on the left + on our wedding day 20 years ago below 🙂 (photo credit my sister – film) … and yes if you are doing the math we were married at the age of 5 ;) LOL
“Dream Bella” was inspired by …
my constant dream of doing what I love and seeing beauty in everyone and everything I see. (“Bella” means beautiful in Italian). I feel so excited and privileged to be able to combine my love for photography, art and nature with my love for people. Every individual, couple and family I have photographed, have been so beautiful and unique to me that it has provided me with a constant source of creative inspiration that makes photography my dream job!!! If there is anything else you would like to know, please don’t hesitate to ask, I’m an open book!
When it comes to WEDDINGS …
we became hooked after the first one we photographed together. The exhilaration, the people, the emotion, the love, the happiness, the fun/laughter, the quirky characters, the dancing, the beautiful details + the romance – a perfect canvas for our creative juices to paint free! We want to capture everything from the big moments through to the glorious details + intimate nanoseconds, with unique, natural, warm, real, romantic + stunning imagery that you will LOVE!
Over the past 7 years …
we feel extremely spoilt to have met + photographed some of the coolest, most beautiful + genuine people possible + for that we are forever grateful! Our love for travel + language has now led us to the stunning Riviera Maya, Mexico where we are excited to be photographing people from all around the world in stunning locations like Playa Del Carmen, Isla Mujeres, Cancun, Tulum, Puerto Morelos, Cozumel + beyond! With locations like San Miguel Guana Juato + Chiapas on our bucket list.
